After meditating for years, I started to study Shaila Catherine's books on the jhanas about a year ago. I achieved some deep states of concentration but nothing like piti, as described there--roughly, a sensation of all-pervasive pleasure brought on by meditation. In other words, I wasn't doing it right, since piti is an essential component of the first and second jhanas. Now after reading Leigh Brasington's instructions for the access concentration and the first jhana, I have finally achieved the first jhana for the first time. (as Brasington says, if you wonder whether you have achieved the first jhana, you almost certainly haven't. After trying his instructions, I was no longer wondering. ) The difference seems to lie in Brasington's instruction to concentrate on a feeling of pleasure after achieving access concentration. This is different from concentration on a 'nimitta', as advised by Catherine, since a nimitta can be a wide variety of things.
This is not to say that I no longer value Catherine's books. Her second one ('Wisdom Wide and Deep'), in particular, is extremely detailed and scholarly and includes a wealth of practices not covered by Brasington. I now intend to go back and study Catherine again, to see how significant the differences in the two approaches really are. But Brasington's acceso worked for me whereas Catherine's did not.

This is because cannabis takes on more light than any other flowering plant i have worked with in the past. And the cultivation of the plant is just the beginning of the crops productization as dried flower, extract or oil which requires a thorough understanding of plant maturation and the necessary treatments just prior to harvest.
The most noteworthy aspect of how cannabis differs from typical greenhouse plants is how the plant thrives under high-intensity light. Cannabis is one of the few plants which flourish under more than novecientos cincuenta to mil doscientos photosynthetic photon flux density (ppfd) in full bloom, i. While dli requirements dip to a degree, the loss of the six additional hours of light should not be dismissed; growers who do not account for this change will see poor yields in terms of flowering productivity. This is why high-intensity ppfd lighting is especially important during the bloom stage. Some growers assume the same supplemental or primary lighting can be used for every stage of growth.
